Putnam Architects is a Washington, DC based design studio offering architectural services to residential and commercial clients. Our approach is straightforward, relying on a collaborative process with our clients. Our goal is to solve the unique design problems inherent to each project to create rich, livable architecture. We offer comprehensive design services for our projects, from schematic design to construction administration.

Bill Putnam has nearly 20 years experience in residential architecture. Prior to establishing Putnam Architects in 2020, he worked for Outerbridge Horsey Associates and Dynerman Architects, both small residential design firms in Washington, DC. He received his Masters in Architecture from The Catholic University of America. He is licensed in Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland.
